- ISBN: 1585428485, 9781585428489

- Self help book introducing different techniques to approach interpersonal relationships. It divides attachment into different styles (such as anxious, avoidant, and stable), giving examples of what each one is, how that plays out in various scenarios (both romantic and otherwise), how that plays out internally and in relations between the types.
- Comment provided by recommendee: The advice was actionable and I could see that, if someone undertook them, they would go from someone who is dissatisfied with their relationships to someone, if not immediately and miraculously successful would be able to say "This is because of this. I know that now. I can do this and get something different or make peace with it in this way and devote my energy elsewhere."
- The Adult ADHD Tool Kit: Using CBT to Facilitate Coping Inside and Out, J. Russell Ramsay and Anthony L. Rostain
- ISBN: 0415815886, 9780415815888
- amas.hk (PDF)
- libgen (PDF)

- targeted at docs, can be a neat overview or refresher after if you're into the jargon
- From the blurb: "A central source of frustration for most adults with ADHD is that they know what they need to do but they have difficulties turning their intentions into actions. These difficulties also interfere with their ability to use self-help books and to get the most out of psychosocial treatments that provide coping strategies that promise to improve their functioning. [...] The Adult ADHD Tool Kit: Using CBT to Facilitate Coping Inside and Out is a coping guide for adults living with ADHD, one that does not just present useful coping strategies but also provides specific tactics designed to help readers implement these skills in their daily lives and brings them to life in a user-friendly format. The authors discuss many different settings in which ADHD may cause difficulties, including work, school, matters of physical health and well-being, and the issue of excessive use of technology."

- Man's Search for Meaning, Viktor E. Frankl
- ISBN: 067166736X, 9780671667368
- internet archive (PDF, EPUB)
- libgen (PDF)
- Comment provided by recommendee: Its about Frankl's experiences in a concentration camp and what kept him clinging to life when many of his fellow inmates gave up or killed themselves. He talks about how he gave himself hope for the future, of seeing his wife again, of continuing his practice in psychology and completing his book. He took Netzchie's principle that "he who has a why to live can bear with almost any how" and used that to survive the harsh years in the camp. He saved himself by giving himself hope for the future. Its a very powerful book and strong advice I'd give to those in despair.
